Hi Anna,

I'm glad you could see the resemblance, I thought it was just my eyesight!! :D
i don't know who did his earpiercing but it looks like a 'cow-boy' job to me!!! ;D

Melanie said...

Oh, but he's so cute!!! I jest want to take him home, piercing or no!!!! ;)

Actually, he kinda looks like one of those Ewok creatures from starwars...the steer, not AJ!!! :DDD

Thanks Melanie...I can always rely on you!!:))

It's not so bad...have you ever seen the 'whanger' that trails underneath one of those beasts!!!! Just like Shrek right enough!!!:D

Oh! So that's why you walk the way you do AJ. I just thought you'd had a close encounter with ricketts in your youth but it's clearer now why your knees don't meet up!!! :DDD

Melanie said...

Oh, my gosh!!! The visuals that came to my mind...first 'budgies', now this!!!

all I can say is I feel for the poor person standing next to a kilted Shrek should he do a sudden about face...they'll be struck down!! :D

Felled by by a caber-like whanger!! :D It's too much to contemplate.

I know, I know, the things that come to my mind at times!!! :DD

The yellow tag in the left notched ear tells any cowboy that this boys "whanger" does not work anymore. That is why he is looking so sad and scared. You can tell he has been sniffing the cream, too bad he can not close the deal.

Talking Bear and AJ....best be careful....I've heard dear Peajay has been out 'snipping'
...first the dog, then I've heard rumour of some verbal snipping of outta line blokes on the Scotsman...And, I think her holiday in Scotland was actually a working holiday, on the ins and outs of the doings of a vet's assistant on the farm!! :)

I have no worries. I did not get the nick name of SgtMaj by being scared of soft gentle hands. Some of us are used for a more regal purpose of continuing a blood line for a reason.

Peajay said...

Oh, please! A regal purpose!!! That's a new name for it!! :D

Melanie said...

They'll give any name to it won't they, so long as they...!!

What's the boy scouts motto?...'always be prepared'...

...hmmmm, as the SgtMjr also has a kilt.... another saying could be... 'a well stocked sporran and service with a smile'!! :DD

...probably too much, but hey, at least I didn't start it this time!!! ;)))

Well, change of subject, let's clean up, first,

and then have a cultural lesson or two:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIEQBAQfMt4&NR=1

...the pipes are a bit raw, but the flutes are nice, and the poem at the end of the second vid is kinda nice, too!

Either that, or the heat is really getting to me! ;)))

Well, if it was not so regal, I doubt a certain lass would be chasing it so much.

Anyway, you posted a pic of a sorry little cow and have managed to get more posts then any of my in depth work.....hummmm.

'Well, if it was not so regal, I doubt a certain lass would be chasing it so much'! You really are selling yourself as a stud muffin aren't you TB? :D And as for that 'lass' describing your 'well stocked Sporran' it certainly sounds as though the lunchbox has landed!! Thank you both for sharing all these insights with the viewing public.
It is a very cute cow TB and it's certainly not about content, perhaps if you went with cute pictures on your blog!! ;D

Well, I don't know about a stud muffin, I do like muffins. Anyway, Like everyone else, I am just trying to fit within a very competive society. Sometimes a guy has to show some bravado when other bucks come sniffing. This buck has had many violent bouts with other bucks over the years, and none of the incidents had anything to do with lunchboxs or stocked sporrans. But I do really well at projecting my will upon the unwilling. There is no easy way to take someone's freedom away, and it takes a big strong buck to "get er done."

Melanie said...

OMG, I thought I cleaned it up around here and changed the subject??!! :)

Blimey, gals, there's been a bit of bull bellowing broadly on this board!!! ;D

Let's talk about the latest silk fashions and knitting patterns...might quiet these bucks down!! :D

TB, I know your proficient with the use of handcuffs, but must you broadcast it so publicly!! ;))

Thanks for that Mel, he needs taking in hand (metaphorically speaking) he's coming across like a macho-man who wrestles his poor wife to the ground and ravishes her regularly, when he's not fighting off the milkman. :D
